Jillian Oduber
MSc Aerospace Engineering student at TU Delft specializing in Space Exploration
Originally from Aruba, Jillian moved to the Netherlands in 2016 to study Aerospace Engineering at TU Delft. After getting her Bachelor’s degree, she took a year off of her studies to take on the full-time role of Chief Engineer at Lunar Zebro, which is a project at TU Delft that aims to build a miniaturized rover that is flight-ready for a mission to the Moon. Since then, she has returned to her studies and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Space Flight, with a specialization in Space Exploration. She also dedicates some of her free time to being an active member of The STEM Embassy, which is an organization that is dedicated to promoting the STEM disciplines on the Dutch Caribbean islands.

Bridge Design Challenge

Can you build a bridge? Could you add mass to your bridge without letting it break? In this Stem workshop, participants will work in engineering teams to design and construct a bridge using only spaghetti noodles and glue. Afterwards, their models will be tested to see if they can withstand added weight. The team who designs the strongest bridge wins!
